Biography
Andrew Parkerton studied filmmaking at the University of North Carolina School of The Arts, during which he filmed a multitude of projects including: Plastic Soul, Baba Yaga, and Callisto's End, all of which have received vigorous festival acclaim. His studies would inform his photographic style, as well as various marketable skills such as film loading, DMX programming, and 600A electrical distribution.
Currently, Andrew is New York based cinematographer for independent narrative, music video, and documentary work. Clients included Nike, PBS, and Red Bull. In additon to film work, he pursues stills photography through portraiture and landscapes. Andrew Parkerton is a fresh and talented new voice in the ever-evolving landscape of cinematography.
